Hello, my name is Mohammad Golam Hossan Farhan
DEPUTY MANAGER – SPECIFICATION AT AKIJ ISPAT LTD
I completed my B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology. Since then, I have been providing my expertise to the construction materials industries of Bangladesh.
Currently, I am working as Deputy Manager – Specification at Akij Ispat Ltd, where I am responsible for developing, managing, and promoting technical specifications to support the company’s product positioning in the market.
Previously, I worked at HILTI Bangladesh (by Bauwerk) as a Specification Consultant, where I gained significant experience in specification development and technical services. Before that, I played various roles at leading companies in the construction sector, such as GPH Ispat Ltd, KSRM Steel Plant Ltd, Doreen Group, and Anwar Group of Industries.
In addition, I have also earned an MBA in Marketing from the University of Dhaka, which complements my technical background with strong business and strategic insight.
Besides my current role, I also guide Freehold Construction & Development as a Business Development Consultant for their rebar coupler solutions and pile base grouting services.
